About Us

Mr. Shyam Chetal, The CEO of Stanford Development Group, works from the firms’ home office in Fremont to make amazing developments happen all over the world. He has a BA (Civil Engineering, Gauhati University, India), an MS (Civil Engineering, University of Wisconsin, Madison), and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in California & Washington and as a Real Estate Broker in California. These allow him to broker both small (multi-million) and large (multi-billion) mixed and dedicated projects. Please see the Current Projects page and return often to see how things are progressing.

As the founder and principal of Stanford Development Group from 1988 to the present, Mr. Chetal recently captured two, multi-million dollar hotel projects consisting of more than 400 rooms each. From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Chetal worked for A.G.C. DEVELOPMENT, INC., Santa Clara, CA as a project manager where he personally achieved over $91 million in joint venture funding for 3 projects. The results included a 100% per project return within the first year. He also secured funding for multi-million dollar private investment projects which he then managed, successfully completing all functions of project design and construction.

Mr. Shyam Chetal, with more than 28 years of professional engineering and construction experience for large highways and bridge projects, as well as office buildings and tunnels, has organized, supervised and managed construction projects the world over. He has hands-on experience with design standards and methodologies in a number of countries. He has worked as a design engineer, project manager for the design and construction of highways, bridges, tunnels and high-rise office buildings.

Mr. Chetal is also involved in his community as a strong leader and is an excellent negotiator.
